They were definitely trying almost too hard to make sure you knew it was set in the 50s (sexism and racism and anti-Semitism, oh my!), but I went with it. Hopefully, they won't need to be so obvious to establish the setting as the series goes on, though.
Anyway, I liked it and I'm glad I looked up what channel AMC was to watch it  . The characters are going to be the real draw as it gets into the storylines a little deeper. |

I'm just now catching it on reruns after "Breaking Bad" and it looks like a great show. I recognize several attitudes since I was a teen in the late 50's and 60's. EVERYONE did smoke back then, it was almost a social thing to do. |

I wish they would reference some of the music on the show.
In my opinion, the Stones created what we know as "rock" music. |
