| Show Slang | "Jesus Stick":
This refers to the large stick carried by Mr. Eko, which has various passages and quotes from the Bible carved on it. The term originated when Charlie asked Eko, in exasperation, if he was "gonna beat [him] with his Jesus Stick."
| The "Others":
A phrase first coined by Danielle Rousseau. The term refers to the mysterious people that seem to be native to the island and have extensive knowledge of its geography and workings.
