| When Locke arrives at the Flightline Motel, a plane flies by in the background with the Oceanic Airlines logo on its tail.

Jack: Phuket.
Sawyer: The hell you doin' in Thailand? What? Ya didn't think I'd know where Phuket is? Just 'cause I dropped out ninth grade, don't make me an idiot.

Amarillo Slim, real name Thomas Austin Preston, Jr., is a professional gambler, famous for his poker skills, who won the main event at the World Series of Poker in 1972.

Mongo was the giant gingerbread man in Shrek 2.
