I will say this is by far the best Law and Order. The episodes are interesting and I like the characters. L&O use to be alright. I don't like it now, though. And the original is just plain boring now. I know I'm not the only one who watches this show. ^o) ^o^ |

This one is more character driven, which is why people like it a lot more. I think some episodes on this show are a lot better than L&O...but they are all really good in their own way. |

L&O SVU is definately my favorite L&O. I like the characters better, mainly because the show focuses a lot on them, and the cases are more interesting and emotional (sometimes) than the other Law and Orders. |

I just cant watch any other L&O series, SVU is by far the best. I like the real, grimy feel of it, and I think it's the best police drama show out there. None of these shows are 100% 'realistic', but this comes close. The characters aren't your average cop drama stereotypes, they seem to be a little more unique and personal. You can feel attached to them, which is probably what makes it so interesting.
Each to their own, of course, but I personally like SVU as compared to the original or CI. |
