  Season 19 (The Nineteenth Year)  
2008 welcomed the 19th Season of the historic drama, Law & Order. Detectives Cyrus Lupo and Kevin Bernard (Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson respectively) are out to protect the streets of New York with help from Lieutenant Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson). Those who prosecute the offenders are E.A.D.A. Michael Cutter with help from A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa (Linus Roache and Alena de la Garza). D.A. Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) watches over and helps his A.D.A.s with their cases.

Notable cases include street fighting gone wrong and having a mentally handicapped person as their only witness and a court clerk sends a judge instant messages on what to say in court. Notable guest stars include Vivica A. Fox, Leslie Hendrix, Tom Everett Scott, Keith Carradine, Katee Sackhoff, Ned Beatty,Christopher McDonald, Rue McClanahan, and Sherry Stringfield.
