After a young African-American banking associate is found murdered, Detectives Fontana and Green discover that he had hundreds of thousands of dollars in his checking account The detectives suspect the victim was having an affair with his high-powered boss Sophia who killed him out of fear and rage. As the police and ADA Jack McCoy build their case, everything hinges on using either the executive's estranged husband or their shaky teenaged daughter Katie.
