A young high school girl is found severely beaten and tied to a tree in the middle of Central Park. Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) find evidence that leads them straight to a Hitler youth gathering. Is the young lonely girl a victim of her own hatred? District Attorney's McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) try desperately to convict not only the murderer, but also the person provoking the hatred. S.
