Detective Curtis is the first of his kind to be on television: a Latino Catholic. For his 4 season tenure, you get to see Curtis go all out on the defendants, as you see his bad temper. He is also is a techomaniac, knowing many things his partner, Detective Briscoe, doesn't.
Curtis left at the end of Season 9 because his wife, Deborah, has MS and wants to spend more time with her and his family so he transferred to a desk job. |
