3 Gallery Images	Det. Ed Green [Season 10-], played by Jesse L. Martin (1) Detective Ed Green became partners with Detective Lennie Briscoe in Season 10, and stayed with him until Briscoe's departure in Season 14. From Seasons 15-16 he was partnered with Detective Joe Fontana. From Seasons 17 to the middle of 18 he was the Senior Detective, being partnered with Detective Nina Cassidy in Season 17 and Detective Cyrus Lupo in Season 18. Personal demons came back to haunt Detective Green during the middle of Season 18 that caused him to be investigated by Internal Affairs. Although he was cleared of the charges, he retired from the force.
