Well, King Of The Hill is diffrent from other animated comedies we see today. For example the main charecter, Hank Hill, is actuslly a smart, dedicated, and responible unlike his other cartoon contempariaries ( his son Bobby is more of the retard in this comedy). Also, it lacks other things many simlalr comedies represent. Most shows like King Of the hill are satirical , use alot of cruse words in it, and always hads thedumb dad. King of the Hill's comedy is more based on a 'random stuff happens making it funny" kind of humor and not relying on some comedy themes mentioned above. One thing good about the show is its plot. Theplots are always fun to watch and is what got me hooked on to the show. The animation however, lacks interest it's in the borderline of neat animation and chees animation making that part a bit boring since it doesn't display the neat and complex animation the simpsons and family guy have and doesn't have the cheesy but funny animation south park uses. I really like the charecter progression in this show however from LuAnn marrying Lucky to cotton dying from third degree burns and a shrimp allergy. I do recommend this show for comedy fans; even thogh it may not have the charm other animated shows do; youd be glad i reccomended it. To make it simple in the positons of comedy kings KOTH falls fourth. If I were to rate it on a scale from one to ten, I give it an 8.
