I have to give this episode credit for being unique, as its plot was certainly unlike any of the other episodes in the series. Regardless, I believe this episode changes everything. I was about to give up on the series when Jack “forgot” the truth, due to Dan’s altering of the timeline, but this episode set things right and Jack is now using common sense. Good for him. I have no complaints about this series now and I sincerely hope that it doesn’t get cancelled. |

I think I actually enjoyed the discussion (or confrontation) between Dan and Jack in Emily, where Jack finally put the pieces together with the "counterfiet" $20 bill and started to believe, a good deal more than the actual meeting between Jack and Livia in Blowback. Somehow, it made more of an impact - then, of course, Dan fudged the timeline and erased it. I think I expected a little more awe out of the Jack/Livia meeting, and that feeling just wasn't there.
But it was a thoroughly enjoyable episode, anyway. Just watching Dan going through such a screwy situation, and actually considering killing the kid, was wild.
Still doesn't surpass Double Down as my favorite, though.
