Cultural References

There are lot of references to the movie Tron in this episode. Yori, Clu, Bit, and DuMont are all names of characters from the movie. MacP is a slightly altered version of MCP (Master Control Program), the main villain of the movie. DuMont's background of working for a company that stole his computer games is a take on the plot of the movie, and his real name is Kevin Flynn, which is the name of Jeff Bridges' character as well.

The override code for the Banatech executive jet is 186416309: a combination of the the NCC registry and the prefix code of the Defiant from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

The registry number of the Banatech jet is NX74205: the registry number of the Defiant in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
