(Barney walks into the bar.)
Everybody: Swarley!
(Carl reaches over to the boombox and hits play. A song starts: "Sometimes you want to go / Where everybody knows your name." Barney walks out and the Executive Producer credits appear on screen.)

This sequence is three references in one to the classic sitcom Cheers. In that show, whenever bar regular Norm entered the bar, all the patrons would greet him with a chorus of "Norm!" The song that is played on the boombox is the famous Cheers theme song. Lastly, the Executive Producer credits that appear on the screen are written in the same font as the Cheers credits.
