Episode discussion for: 04x01 | Orientation (Sep 21, 2009) and 04x02 | Jump, Push, Fall (Sep 21, 2009)
I was kind of wondering if we wouldn't really be seeing any of Zachary Quinto this season given the circumstances, but I think how they handled that situation with Nathan and Matt was pretty awesome.
Robert Knepper's character seems delightfully creepy, and this Gretchen girl is pleasantly weird. I've got issues with the whole Annie storyline. I doubt she just topped herself because that would be pretty cheap writing, I think, just to out Claire's power to Gretchen. And it's kind of a shame Danko had to go, but his character got on my nerves a lot.
Any theories as to the meaning of the compass and the carnies in general? |

I have high hopes for this season actually. Reminded me of season 1 a little, I think their trying to keep things simple. I always say this but I just really want Micah to come back as a regular cast member. It'd be awesome to see how a kid matures into a hero. So far every kid that comes on the show leaves quickly after.
The time traveling has become sort of a joke at this point. If hiro went back and time and changed ando's relationship with his sister, it would have had a major ripple effect on the timeline. |

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Surely there must have been majour events where Kimiko rejected Ando that would have drastically changed the present had they been changed! I mean it does fit in more with Samuel's analogy with the milk bottles, but it's still wrong.
Unrelated note / crackpot theory: Gretchen is an evolved human.
Speedster Knife Guy made me miss Daphne. |
