Sein Vater will Hero überzeugen, nach Japan zurückzukehren und ins Unternehmen einzusteigen. Claire macht ihre leibliche Mutter ausfindig. Und Sylar sucht die direkte Konfrontation mit Noah Bennet, als er dessen Familie angreift.
Ihren Vater anzulügen, wird für Claire immer schwieriger. Die Suche nach ihrer leiblichen Mutter führt die Cheerleaderin zu einem texanischen Wohnwagenpark. Hiros Vater versucht, seinen Sohn zu einer ehrbaren Karriere in seinem Unternehmen in Japan zu bewegen - ein Pfad, für den Hiros Schwester ungleich geeigneter scheint.
Hiro hat nach wie vor das Ziel vor Augen, an das Schwert des Takezo Kensei zu gelangen. Niki erhält die Chance, zu D. L. und Micah zurückzukehren - muss jedoch selbst bezweifeln, dass ihr Glück von Dauer sein wird. Claude weiht Peter in die Geheimnisse der Superkraft ein, sich unsichtbar zu machen - was nicht nur Vorteile mit sich bringt. Und Sylar geht zum Gegenangriff auf Noah Bennet und dessen Familie über.
