Matt is forced to put aside his marital issues for the time being while he helps Audrey with another bizarre murder investigation. When Hiro is unable to act like a hero when faced with a dangerous situation, he begins to question his destiny. Meanwhile, Claire learns where her missing tape is and Mr. Bennett is delivered disturbing news.

Audrey says that CODIS determined the identity of a fingerprint found on a body. However, CODIS (Combined DNA Index System) uses DNA to determine an identity, not fingerprints. For prints, the AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems) database is used instead.
| During the last episode, "Better Halves", Niki was knocked out by D.L. and landed with her face toward the right. When this episode picks up where that scene left off, Niki is facing left.
