The all mighty Japanese hero. The great man that Hiro has heard stories about all his life. Well not exactly, it turns out Takezo Kensei is a drunken English man who's only purpose is to get rich. Hiro is confused and will do whatever it takes to turn Takezo Kensei in to the man he's heard so much about. Takezo Kensei also has a power which will be learned in the second episode this season.

Along with his sister Maya, Alejandro Herrera is on his way to New York to find Dr. Mohinder Suresh in hopes to find a cure. It is unknown at this time what his power is, but it's believed to be in relations with his sisters Maya, whom has the power of the plauge. It seems Alejandro stops Maya from unleashing her power.

Her character will have the powers of "pheromones". Her character was introduced in the episode "Like A Parasite".

Wearing a necklace which displays a symbol seen throughout the series, the Haitian is an aloof character. His actual name has so far not been revealed on the show; he is referred to almost exclusively as simply "The Haitian". He did not speak in any episode until "Fallout," and his associate Eden McCain expressed the belief that he is mute. He kissed his necklace before erasing Matt Parkman's memory, and expressed a belief in God — specifically, a belief that superpowers are a gift from God, and should be respected. He is one of the few characters who sees his powers in a highly positive light. So far, his main alliances are with Mr. Bennet, Bennet's daughter, Claire, and Angela Petrelli.

After Mohinder Suresh saved him from death in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Mohinder and the Haitian planned to trick the Company that his memory was wiped. When the Company arrives, he is whisked back to Costa Verde, California, while they recover Mohinder.

Sylar's original power was to understand how things work. However this ability led to figuring out how to obtain others powers. Until season 3 it was unclear as to whether he ate his victims brains or removed something from the victims and somehow used that. Now, in season 3, we've seen how Sylar obtains other peoples powers, simply by examining the brain, when he see's what it is in the brain that functions the persons supernatural power, then he can do it himself. Sylar has previously worked with Mohinder trying to track down more heroes to steal abilities. Mohinder found out and tried to kill Sylar but was unable to. Sylar has tried to kill Claire to obtain her power but Peter has stopped him. Ever since then Peter and Sylar have been defined as Good VS Evil.

In the episode "Company Man' fans were introduced to his character and the Boss of HRG.
