  Maya [Season 2-], played by Dania Ramirez
Introduced to us in the second season, her and her brother are on the run from the law. After hitching a ride with smugglers, Maya was forced to sit in the front seat while her brother was kicked out of the vehicle. It seems that Maya needs her brother around to protect her from unleashing the "plauge" also known as a "Virus" or a "Disease". In order to escape from the two men Maya had to unleash her power and it not only killed the 2 smugglers but everyone else in the car too. Maya and her brother Alejandro are on their way to New York to find out if Mohinder has a cure.
