Miley Stewart is a 16 year-old girl who's trying to fit in like everyone else. The only difference about Miley is that she's also the famous pop star, Hannah Montana! Her family moved from Tennessee to Malibu where she met her new best friends, Lilly Truscott and Oliver Oken. Now all she has to do is hope that her friends and family will help make sure her secret stays exactly that - a secret.
Hannah Montana premiered on Friday, March 24, 2006 and holds the record to this date as one of the highest rated premieres on Disney Channel in the channel's history. The show's theme song, The Best of Both Worlds, was performed by its star, Miley Cyrus, and almost every episode features an original song from Miley.
