A Nice Start to a New Season
!!!!!! This review contains spoilers !!!!!!

When "Free Fall" ended the previous season of "Ghost Whisperer," I was wondering in what way the writing staff of the show would handle Andrea crossing over after her death. Now, with "Love Never Dies," the intensity that was present in the cliffhanger ending of the previous episode continued and it was nice to see a lot of questions answered.

What I really enjoyed about this episode was how Melinda learned more about "Wide Brim" from Professor Payne, mainly because I found their scenes together to be pretty funny, a somewhat lighthearted side to the Melinda's search into the dark history of Romano/Wide Brim.

Something else that I really enjoyed were the scenes between Melinda and Andrea when she suspected Wide Brim was keeping Andrea from crossing over, and then the end when they were with Mitch saying their goodbyes. While I was sad to see Andrea to go into the light, it was still really touching and I almost started crying.

However, one thing that I didn’t like about this episode dealt with the man from Seattle. In this episode we don’t really know who he is or what his story is, yet he is obsessing over finding out where Melinda lives and how to get there. While we’re most likely going to find out about him in upcoming episodes, there could have been more of a hint to his identity in this episode.

With that said, I was really happy with how the season premiere opened up with this episode of “Ghost Whisperer.” If “Love Never Dies” is any indication of what is to come, then the rest of the new season of the show should be great.
