Episode Goofs
 
Joe is momentarily able to walk again after crashing his sled, however, he kicks his legs several times to stop the sled before crashing at all.
 
Chris' sign has the letters 'QHS' (Quahog Highschool) printed on it, when Meg actually goes to "James Woods Highschool".
 
The quarterback in the football game is black, but his hands appear to be white. Then after he is tackled, his hands become black.
 
When Lois is finished her figure “8”, she skates next to Meg who is standing on the bottom edge of the “8” (as the camera sees it) but when the scene expands out, suddenly they are both standing in the center of the “8”.
 
 
Cultural References
 
Lois: “Look Meg, I'm that pretty dark haired figure skater with the horse teeth, you know the one who got what she had coming”

Lois is speaking of Nancy Kerrigan, the bronze medal winner at the 1992 Winter Olympics.
The thing “she had coming” was an incident when she was clubbed in the knee by Shane Stant at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit. Stant had been hired to assault her by Tonya Harding's ex-husband Jeff Gillooly and friend Shawn Eckardt.
 
Stewie: “Nice shot. Made my brown eye blue with that one”

Reference to the 1977 Crystal Gayle song, “Don't It Make My Brown Eyes”
