Family Guy-rades for "The Story on Page One"
Peter: Peter remains fresh on this, an episode that may have become a bit dated. Seth Mcfarlane might have been overdoing it when Peter did the parachute joke, but I felt that Peter was extremely funny this episode, especially the “skelehorse”. A

Lois: Not a lot of face-time, almost zero jokes. Inc.

Brian: Brian had only a handful of jokes, but his vicious sarcasm was delightful. B+

Meg: Lots of face time, very few jokes. C

Chris: Chris technically had very little face time because Stewie took control of him early on in the episode. He only had time to mutter one joke about poop. Inc.

Stewie: Stewie had a vicious joke on Lois, then all of his remaining jokes were associated with controlling Chris. It was also nice to see one of those insanity in the background jokes since they are not much of a mainstay on Family Guy. B+

Flashbacks: Really all of the flashback jokes are associated with Stewie. I suppose there was nothing wrong with that, but there certainly weren’t many. B

Others: There were only two side characters with any focus: Neil and Adam West. Adam West put on a hell of a show; Neil was pretty good, especially with the joke regarding his voice. A
