When Grandpa Griffin comes for a visit, he, as usual, tries to impose his religious beliefs on the family. This causes Peter to search for a new religion, his own religion. Of course, he turns to his idol: the Fonz, and establishes a Church of the Fonz, which proves to be a bigger success then they could ever have imagined. Meanwhile, a mishap puts Stewie living in a bubble.

Episode Notes

This is the 2nd appearance of Francis Griffin if you don't count him being seen in the crowd in "Perfect Castaway".

Stewie tells the viewers to switch to "Desperate Housewives" just to prove that they are not missing much. Desperate Housewives was really playing at the same time, and was showing the actress Stewie was talking about.

The Broadcast of this episode was moved ahead 20 minutes because of a Presidential Adress.

Episode Quotes

Peter: Oh that Fonzie is a work of magic. I love how he hits that jukebox to make it work.

Francis: ...real religion! what i saw today wasn't real religion, it was just a bunch of sheep, singing songs and listening to ridiculous tall tales.
Brian: Actually, that is religion.

Quagmire: Reverend Peter, I gotta talk to you... last night I had sex with a teenage blonde, and her mother.
Peter: Well that's quite a story, Quagmire, but my church doesn't have confession. So why are you telling me?
Quagmire: Are you kidding? I'm telling everybody! Giggity-goo-ga.

Stewie: I'm just saying 70's boobs were different...

Peter: Tell us about World War One and how America defeated Kaiser Permanente.

Peter: Could there be anyone stupider than me?
(Long pause)
Brian: Madonna.
Peter: Oh yeah, she's pretty stupid. That's something we can all agree on. Right?
Brian: Absolutely. Francis?
Francis: Oh major idiot. Major idiot.

Lindsey Lohan: (naked, walking like a crab) This is how a crab walks!
Peter: It sure is!
