Dog loves a challenge and to help a friend. Today his friend Jim, a fellow bondsman, has asked Dog to help track down a dangerous fugitive and bring along his son, who is just learning the business himself. The hunt starts at a den which is filled with swords and knives. Before this day is over, doors will be kicked in, mace will be sprayed and one bounty hunter in training will be that much wiser.

Darkness has fallen, but Dog is hot on the trail and he and his posse refuse to let up. They're searching for Marco, a "Big Fish" drug dealer who has a large bond due. The best way to catch them is through another fugitive, Elizabeth. Can Dog trick her into giving up her best friend? And what will Dog do when he finds out that the bait in the set-up is also a wanted man?

Dog and the crew are still in Colorado where they are pursuing Marco. They suddenly receive a tip which sends them speeding south of Pueblo to meet with a longtime associate of Marco's.

Leland gets help on the Big Island from Dog and the posse as he hunts down a small-time Bonnie and Clyde couple. Their crime: stealing, including a pair of Buddha statues for resale. But the couple has deeper problems than this, which is revealed on the ride to the jail, and it's not a pretty picture.

Dog and his crew find this suspect harder to pin down in Honolulu's downtown district, moving around from place to place. But as the hunt goes on, Dog discovers there is more than just one family member wanted by the police.

Dog and the crew hop a plane for the Big Island after Leland learns that one of his clients with a bad reputation for stealing has lost her co-signer and will likely run. The target lives in a hidden area on the island with a junk-filled compound with many places to hide. The search reveals a dark secret from the past that lies behind the woman's troubled present.

Dog finds it difficult to balance home life and work when a case takes him away from preparing for Baby Lyssa's upcoming wedding plans.

Dog and the posse travel to the Big Island to help Leland track down a small-time Bonnie and Clyde couple. Their crime: theft, including allegedly stealing a pair of Buddha statues for resale. But this only masks deeper problems with the couple. On the ride to jail all is revealed, and the picture is not pretty.
