"Design Giants", hosted by Interior Design magazine's Editor in Chief Cindy Allen, looks at some of the biggest names in aesthetics. These recent inductees to the Design Hall of Fame are setting the world ablaze with their creative initiatives. This clip explores Nick Luzietti. An architect and interior designer, Nick started early, drawing endless sketches in high school and prompting his guidance counselor to suggest a career in architecture. Luzietti agreed, and eventually added interior design to his resume as well, to add a more personal touch to his work. He now works as design principal for VOA Associates, whose projects include the National Gallery of Art, the Disney Yacht and Beach Club, The United Building and Volkswagon of America headquarters. What sets Luzietti apart from the rest is his listening skills- he talks to his clients at length and and designs with their interests and passions in mind, testing the bounds of his creativity within the parameters of his clients’ visions.
