We learn why Garcia got shot and that she wasn't just a random victim. Garcia has been overstepping her authority behind the scenes and gets the unwanted attention of a guy with a hero/homicide complex. He saves lives but destroys them too.
It was a decent episode. Obviously they weren't going to get rid of Garcia (or the killer would have shot her in the head). Another well acted, well placed episode. The team displays why they are great at what they do.
Another mediocre investigator would have bought the official results that this was just a routine robbery but they didn't.. Nicholas Brendon from "Buffy" should prove a nice romantic interest to Garcia.
