Suzanne's computer science professor Robert Williams disappears and the team tries to explain the matter. While Peter and Niki take the professor's wife and her five-year-old daughter Liza to Addington's house in order to protect them, Luke returns to Williams' house and gets abducted. Through this strange course of events, the team discovers that the professor is heir to the throne of an African tribe.. At the same time Luke is interrogated by an officer, Von Van Gelder, from an opposing force to the monarchy interested in gaining control of the tribe's valuable mineral deposits. Luke quickly recognizes that van Gelder ignores where the professor is hidden and invents a way to get in touch with Peter, he proposes an exchange: himself for the professor. Van Gelder calls Peter to negotiate the exchange and the trap is laid.
