Truffles has recently realized that she is fat, which has sent her spiraling into depression. However, when she blames Mung Daal for making her fat, due to his selection of dishes, she forces everybody at Mung Daal’s Catering to go on a flibber-flabber diet. In order to give her extra motivation, she also decides to hold a contest to see who can lose the weight the quickest; there’s just one problem: flibber-flabber is one of the foulest dishes in the world. Now, Mung Daal must try to find a way to help his wife lose weight, lest he’ll be forced to keep eating the stuff.

Episode Quotes |
| |
Truffles: (singing) I got a little junk-junk, in my trunk-trunk. A little booty-booty, so fresh and fruity. Hmm, I shake my rump-rump, and do a little bump-bump!
(Truffles slaps her butt against a building, causing most of Marzipan City to get knocked down)
Woman: My baby! | (Chowder attempted to grab and eat a vegetable that Mung Daal had just chopped, so Mung Daal slapped his hand)
Mung Daal: No! Bad kitty! | Truffles: Honey, tell me the truth. Have I become a little large in the barge?
Mung Daal: Chowder, take cover. (to Truffles) Um, No.
Truffles: Is that a question?
Mung Daal: (nervously) No.
Truffles: So I’ve put on weight?
Mung Daal: I didn’t say that.
Truffles: I need to go on a diet?
Mung Daal: I didn’t say that!
Truffles: Come on! Out with it! Am I fat?!
Chowder: Fat? Yeah!
(Mung Daal bops Chowder on the head) | Mung Daal: Chowder, life lesson number one: never tell a woman she’s fat.
Truffles: (crying) If anyone needs me, which I doubt because I’m so hideously disgusting, I’ll be in bed, hanging out with my only friends: peanut and butter!
(Truffles takes out a bottle of peanut butter and a stick of butter, dips the butter in the peanut butter, and eats it)
Truffles: Oh, yes, so… I hate you! I love you! I hate you! I love you! Ah! I’m gonna go cry myself to sleep.
Mung Daal: Well, we got off easier than I expected.
(Truffles flies back into the room and points at him)
Mung Daal: (angrily) You! You did this to me!
Mung Daal: What are you talking about?!
Truffles: Are you or are you not the chef here?
Mung Daal: (proudly) Indeed I am!
(Mung Daal places a chef’s hat on his head, though Truffles knocks it off)
Mung Daal: My hat!
Truffles: (angrily) You make this food that makes me fat! You get some sort of sick kick outta keeping me fluffy?
Mung Daal: (angrily) Woman! You crazy! My cooking does not make anyone fat! The rest of us here are doing just fine! We are the picture of health!
(The scene shows Chowder, Mung Daal and Shnitzel, all fatter than they normally appear) | Truffles: Everyone on diets!
Mung Daal: I don’t make diet food!
Truffles: Well then, it looks like your going to have to use your imagination, master chef!
Shnitzel: Ooh! | (Mung Daal is upset that Truffles is making him cook diet food)
Mung Daal: Diet?! I’m quite proud of my girlish figure, thank you! I’ve caught you staring, Shnitzel. | Chowder: This is so exciting! We get to eat tons of flibber-flabber!
Mung Daal: Do you even know what flibber-flabber is?
Chowder: No, but I’m guessing it’s the most wonderful food in the world!
(Chowder imagines a colorful food that begins to talk to him)
False Flibber-Flabber: I love you forever, Chowder! | (Chowder had just eaten a lot of flibber-flabber)
Chowder: It’s even better than I’d hoped.
Mung Daal: He actually likes this crud!
Shnitzel: (surprised) Radda!
Mung Daal: No! This is great! In trying to keep up with Chowder, Truffles will totally burn out on flibber-flabber. Then, she’ll have to call off this stupid diet! Hooray for crazy schemes!
Chowder: Hooray! | (Truffles stops eating the flibber-flabber)
Truffles: That’s it! I can’t eat this slop, and it’s your fault! You need to make it taste better!
Mung Daal: But this stuff is straight nasty!
Truffles: And I thought I married a chef, not a cry baby!
Shnitzel: Ooh!
Mung Daal: (to Shnitzel) Stop doing that! | (Mung Daal and Shnitzel had renovated Mung Daal’s Catering to make Truffles feel less fat)
Mung Daal: You know, honey bunch, I think this diet is really working. You look like you lost a lot of weight!
Truffles: (happily) Really?!
Mung Daal: Oh, yeah! Right, Shnitzel?
Shnitzel: Radda.
Truffles: Huh, you know what? I do feel a little smaller!
Chowder: But I thought yesterday that you said the diet wasn’t working, and Truffles looks fatter than ever!
Mung Daal: (nervously) Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! |

Episode Goofs |
| |
Mung Daal claimed that he and Shnitzel were going to renovate Mung Daal’s Catering in order to make it twice as large, and while the exterior of the building held true to his statement, the interior was far too large to fit inside of the building that was shown. | Mung Daal had kept feeding Chowder flibber-flabber in this episode, which directly defied the premise of the previous episode; in “The Thrice Cream Man”, Mung Daal had proven that Chowder would get sick of eating the same food if he constantly ate it. That problem didn’t seem to exist at all in this episode, despite the fact that Chowder had eaten more flibber-flabber than he had thrice cream. |
