Ms. Endive, voiced by Mindy Sterling
Ms. Endive is a rather large woman who works as a chef in an upscale part of Marzipan City, as she is the proprietor of Ms. Endive's Tasteful Foods. She believes in a strict, disciplinary style of cooking, as she believes that people must follow exact recipes and precise formulas, lest they’ll be a horrible chef. However, she usually takes that notion to the extreme, often going through many unnecessary and complicated steps in order to ensure that everything meets up with her standards. This puts her at odds with Mung Daal, her rival and personal nemesis, as she dislikes his wild style of cooking, as it implies her strict, disciplinary approach is incorrect.
Like Mung Daal, Ms. Endive has recently taken on a young apprentice, Panini. While she seems to genuinely care about Panini’s wellbeing, she is far more controlling than Mung Daal ever is, often giving her lectures and demanding that she perform at the level that is expected of her. At the same time, however, her handling of Panini has permitted her to learn a lot about cooking, and Panini has become a better chef than Chowder. Ms. Endive also has a personal grudge towards men, as when she was younger, a man proposed to her and then never showed up to the wedding; who the man was, and why he stood her up, remains to be seen. |

Panini, voiced by Liliana Mumy
Panini is a bear-cat-rabbit hybrid who is serving an apprenticeship at Ms. Endive’s Tasteful Foods, which is owned and operated by Ms. Endive. While her reasons for doing this are uncertain, she is extremely talented and has learned a lot of information from her master, even reaching the point where she was capable of cooking a dish all on her own. She doesn’t mind Ms. Endive’s strict, disciplinary style of cooking, and she usually does whatever Ms. Endive tells her to do. However, things have started to change as of late.
After meeting Chowder in Marzipan City’s marketplace, she became infatuated and fell deeply in love with him. Unfortunately for her, Chowder isn’t interested in girls and he has declined her advances. None-the-less, Panini hopes that he will one day accept her and she plans to keep flirting with him until he does, though Ms. Endive would much rather have her stay away from him. She believes that relationships are nothing but trouble, due to her own bad experiences, but she’s also noticed that Panini’s performance in the kitchen has been slipping. Panini hasn’t been paying attention to her duties, as she’s been spending too much time daydreaming about Chowder. However, Panini has no plans to let Chowder get away from her. |

Gazpacho, voiced by Dana Snyder
Gazpacho is a rather large elephant creature who owns a stand in Marzipan City’s marketplace, as he sells fruits and vegetables for a living. He is the primary supplier of Mung Daal Catering, as Mung Daal knows that he can always trust Gazpacho to get him the ingredients that he needs in his dishes. Due to such, Gazpacho has developed a friendship with Chowder, as the two spend a lot of time together; Gazpacho is one of the few people whom Chowder fully trusts, as Gazpacho is never annoyed by his antics, unlike most other residents of Marzipan City. However, Gazpacho refuses to allow Chowder to bring Kimchi to his stand, as he banned him after Kimchi’s stench bothered his customers.
Gazpacho isn’t the most healthy individual in Marzipan City, nor is he the most social. He lives with his mother, whom he both fears and respects; he feels that is mother is holding him back, and attempting to destroy his hopes and dreams. However, at the same time, he seems to trust his mother and often recounts her advice, even placing enough faith in it to pass along the advice to his friend, Chowder. Throughout the series, he expressed interest in becoming a ninja, as well as a comedian and an ice-dancer, though he’s usually content to just sit at his stand and talk to his customers all day long. He may not be the most charismatic guy in the world, and his mother may not love him as much as he would like, but he is an honest merchant. |

Kimchi, voiced by C. H. Greenblatt (1)
Kimchi is Chowder’s pet stink cloud. He lives at Mung Daal Catering’s residential quarters, in a cage beside Chowder’s bed, though the cage doesn’t prevent him from getting out. Despite being a gaseous being, Kimchi is capable of picking things up and carrying them away; he is also capable of eating and using the toilet, though an explanation was never given about how such is possible. Nothing is known about where he came from, but Chowder truly loves him and he does whatever he can to make Kimchi happy; since Kimchi is a stink cloud, most people find him disgusting, and he’s even been banned from several establishments, though Chowder doesn’t mind his stench and tries to convince people that Kimchi hasn’t done anything wrong. Kimchi can only speak by talking in fart noises, which Chowder can understand, though whether or not anybody else can understand him remains to be seen. |

Reuben, voiced by Paul Reubens
Reuben is the proprietor of Reuben’s School Of Certifrycation, a school that chefs must attend in order to receive or renew their certifrycates. However, he is a rather strict individual who believes that chefs must follow recipes, as if they fail to follow them exactly, he deems them recipe pirates and considers them ineligible for a certifrycate. He has developed a crush on Ms. Endive, who doesn’t seem to return his affections, though they both share the same opinions on what makes a good dish. Despite his success, Reuben doesn’t have a home, as he sleeps behind the desk where he teaches his students. He also seems to enjoy screams, as he was seen purchasing some screams from a vendor on one occasion. |

Gorgonzola, voiced by Will Shadley
Gorgonzola is a mouse who works as an apprentice candle holder, which is the reason he always wears a candle on his head. He doesn’t seem to like his job too much; he loathes Chowder because he knows that he has a better job than him, though he refuses to admit this to Chowder, and often insults him in an attempt to make himself feel superior. Gorgonzola isn’t a very nice individual, but life isn’t always easy in Marzipan City, and some people live better lives than others. |

The King Of The Sky, voiced by Dwight Schultz
The King Of The Sky is essentially a God, though he’s mainly responsible for making sure weather systems work properly. However, he is an extremely vengeful individual, and when people disturb him, he is capable of causing them great harm. When he’s not busy doing his job, he likes to dance and prepare various dishes, though due to his size, he usually uses things such as volcanoes to prepare his meals. He is a man of few words, so little is known about him and his origin. |
