Meanwhile, Natalia gets a DNA result that suggests a person's DNA is mutating into a canine, as in a wolf.

The episode begins with a total solar eclipse, with all the guests at a pool party looking up at the sky. When the moon first touches the sun's disc to when the whole process is complete, a murder occurs. However, the process with the eclipse takes at least an hour to complete, and the murder would therefore have happened before the sun came back. This changes the time the body would have been discovered and how fast the CSI team would be at the scene of the crime.
