When her latest love interest turns out to be a 500-year-old vampire and the caseload of her fledgling P.I. agency shifts from fraud artists and cheating spouses to battles with ghosts, ghouls, zombies and demons, ex-police detective Vicki Nelson realizes that her life will never be the same.
Blood Ties, based on a series of books by Tanya Huff (the two-hour pilot is an adaptation of the first novel, Blood Price), is produced by Canada's CHUM Television, but is airing first on Lifetime in the United States. The series will air in Canada in the fall.

No disrespect intended, but it's still technically Season 1. LIFETIME just screwed up the numbering. Eps 13-22 are still listed with a 1x in front of them, which translates as Season/Series 1. I don't know how that's going to affect the numbering system on the "official" site, but I hope KEI doesn't give in to the false numbers. Season 1 was originally sold as a complete 22 episode set around the rest of the world. Read more
