John Daly -- winner of the 1995 British Open and 1991 US PGA Championship -- has recently struggled with alcohol abuse, gambling addiction, weight gain, a 2007 rib injury, financial distress, and an inconsistent game, but he's rededicating himself to golf and, more importantly, to life. This reality series follows him as he prepares for and golfs on the 2010 PGA Tour. After having lap-band surgery in February 2009 and changing his eating habits and lifestyle, Daly returns to the links having lost more than 100 pounds. With his slimmed-down physique, improved outlook and sponsors' exemptions, Daly is just starting the long journey back to being one of the most elite golfers in the world. As with every comeback, there are highs and lows, successes and failures, and triumphs and struggles. Daly didn't make the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in January 2010 and immediately announced his retirement from golf. Only to unretire a day later. At the AT&T; Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in mid-February 2010, Daly missed the three-day cut by only four strokes while playing with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. (Source: The GOLF Channel)
