Episode Summary

Finally in Ba Sing Se, the kids are eager to inform the king of their plan to defeat the Fire Nation. However, there are complications. Everyone acts weird whenever the war is mentioned. Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh are followed by Jet, who is trying to prove they are from the Fire Nation. Jet's friends are disappointed that he's so obsessed with catching them, and set out to make a better life for themselves.

Episode Notes

The Goverment officials of Ba Sing Se do not want to cause panic and uproar in the town, so they brainwash anyone that says something about the war (it is assumed that they do that to Jet at the end of the episode).

Toph makes several references to her life in Gaoling in this episode.

This is the second time a regular, not made up, animal is mentioned/seen in the show - a bear.
