In the 21st century, technology is heading in a radical new direction--the merging of man and machine. Transhumanists envision a future in which we become cyborgs, achieving far superior intelligence, the ability to survive beyond Earth's atmosphere without a spacesuit, and the possibility of immortality. But might similarly superhuman beings have walked the Earth once before? Beings that our ancestors regarded as gods? Ancient Astronaut theorists say yes, and suggest that we are simply following the course they set us on from the very beginning of mankind--to transcend our flesh and become like our extraterrestrial creators.

Within 20 years, we are expecting to send the first colonizers to the Red Planet. Astronauts will brave the six-month journey to become the first extraterrestrials visitors to Mars--where they are expected to live and die there, never to return to Earth. But why have we always had a strange fascination with this particular planet? The latest NASA research has revealed that not only is there evidence of liquid water on the planet, but that life on Earth was most likely seeded on Mars. Ancient Astronaut theorists even suggest that the development of life on Earth may have similarities to how scientists are currently planning to keep humans alive on the red planet. Could extraterrestrials from Mars have colonized Earth in our remote past? Could our voyage to Mars not only unlock the mysteries of our ancient, extraterrestrial origins--but also be the key to the long-term survival of the human species?

This Show Has No Credibility!Rating: 1 likes, 2 dislikes after season 4, i found this show was grasping at straws! a lot of the stories really have nothing to do with "aliens", tho its about aliens when its on this show! it now goes after "folklore" and turn the story into an alien thing! really??? i wish they would just go back to what the show was originally about, and thats aliens or beings not of this world! mind you, i find Ancient Aliens is only for "entertainment purposes" only! im a person that does not believe that aliens come from outer space! nope, not for a second! im not saying that there isnt life on other planets, im saying i dont believe that we are visited from "aliens" from outer space, for a few reasons! 1. in recent years scientist have developed theories based on quantum physics and they call it string theory! now im not gonna sit here and pretend i know about quantum physics and the idea of the string theory, but it seems a lot more likely possible that there is many universes (dimensions) or a multi-verse! with just the mere thought that if scientists can split atoms, could there not be a possiblity of them being able to open up doorways to other unverses? and 2. there is no whatsoever evidence that we been visited by beings of other planets! NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE!!! i believe also theres a god! so if god created us in his image, why would he create another being from another planet in that kind of form!??? so to say weve been visited by beings from other planets doesnt sit with me, and not too mention Ancient Aliens seems the show now has to grasp at straws to keep the show going is now the case!! they really havent put a gud season together for quite sometime now! like i mentioned earlier in my comment is that i wish the show would just stay close to their roots and keep it about beings not of this world! they just need to stay awaw from a lot of the folklore unless it has to do with "aliens" not make it about aliens like they have been doing with all stories of the paranormal even! also i do look at this show for only entertainment purposes only! thanks to the people from Ancient Aliens Debunked that put me on the right path in now knowing that the show is nothing but a Fictional tv show!
