I didn't like the show at first, but it got better at the end of the summer. Its just keeps getting better. Who else agrees? |

For me it's different  the first eps where the best for me. it's little less funny now but thats probably cause you a little used to this kind of humor, had the same with family guy. but they still make me laugh as heck most of the episodes so still very good! |

some of the first were good also, but i'm liking the latest ones best. |

Wellt there's the stupid dad, the housewife mom, the teen daughter, the teen son, talking non human who enjoys drinking, and, then the one with a different accent who's obsessed with the mom. Klaus is obsessed with loving Francine, while Stewie is obsessed with killing Lois.

Ok, Stan is not at all like Peter, he is smart and extremely patriotic. Hes not an idiot. Peter is a fat ass who doesnt give a crap about his country. Francine is a model house wife, while Lois is a hard ass who doesnt take crap. Hayley is a popular, pretty, smart girl with friends and a bf. Meg is an ugly girl with no friends or a bf. Steve is a skinny smart nerd who cares a lot about impressing the ladies. Chris is a dumb, fat kid who doesnt seem to care about impressing the ladies. Roger and Brian are pretty similar. But Klaus is a fish who is bent on stealing Stans wife, and Stewie is a babie who is bent on world domination. The episode plots are extremely different too.

Okay. There are diffrences between them. But with the set of family for the two shows, like the dad, the mom, the daughter, the son, the "pet", and the last one, totally similar.
Why does everyone think Meg Griffin is an ugly girl? She's that bad looking. |

You *do* know that many shows have that format, right? It is a TV cliche.

Because the makers of the show wanted to make her ugly and within the show, many characters treat her as if she was ugly. Remember when people lit themselves on fire and killed themselves after seeing her?
