Episode Quotes |
| |
Bill: No, Sir, Jack's been dark since he called to warn us about Fayed and we didn't listen.
President Palmer: I didn't listen. | Hamri Al-Assad: I will not work with my enemies.
Jack: You're working with one now. You might hate this country, you might hate its values but if you are serious about disarming about bringing your organisation and others to the table then you know you have to compromise. That is your political reality. | Milo: Okay, I don't really care what you think is important. It's not your place to tell me what's important!
Morris: Just calm down. I'm trying to help you do your job. You have to evaluate directives that come down, you can't just keep wasting the time of your most important analysts.
Milo: I'm not wasting...
Chloe: Morris...
Morris: What? What?
Milo: I want you to put filters on each one of these files. If I don't have results on my screen in twenty minutes, you are outta here.
Chloe: (to Morris) Grow up! | Curtis: The man's a terrorist, Jack. Responsible for taking hundreds, maybe thousands, of innocent lives over the past twenty years. Doesn't that mean anything to you?
Jack: I don't know what means anything anymore, Curtis. I spent my whole life defending this country against people like Assad. Now he's trying to disarm his people, renounce terrorism. The playing field has changed. | Curtis: We have to make sure that he pays for the crimes that he's committed.
Jack: He's our only chance at a peaceful resolution in all of this. That might not happen. Anyway, it's not our call to make.
Curtis: We'll see.
Jack: What is that supposed to mean?
Curtis: Nothing. | Sandra: I need to speak with Walid before I leave here.
FBI Agent: That's not going to happen.
Sandra: I'm his attorney, you have to give me access to him!
FBI Agent: Don't tell me what I have to do, Miss Palmer. I'm following orders.
Sandra: Walid has rights!
FBI Agent: Limited rights, Miss Palmer. He's being held under the revised enemy combatant statute.
Sandra: Applying the statute to somebody like him is ridiculous! Is the law just been completely thrown out of the window?
FBI Agent: When you're through with the lectures, I have orders to drive you home. |
