The clock ticks toward the final seconds of Jack Bauer's most heroic day. As the world teeters on a terror plot of mass proportions, Jack and the team reunite one last time to avert an imminent international crisis. This show sucks!Rating: 5 likes, 12 dislikes I absolutely don't get why people are so enthused about this show. original and groundbreaking? maybe in year 1. reality is that it is ridiculously predictable with completely contrived and breathless suspense. it's worse than reading a stephen king novel. how many more times do we need to hear jack say 'you've got to trust me on this'? good lord. enough already! makes me want to smash my tv. We see an overview of New York City and a car driving down a street. The car stops and Victor Aruz gets out of it. He enters a building. Two men have targeted Victor; one is a man standing behind a fence with an airphone and the other is a sniper. The sniper does not manage to shoot Victor before he enters the building... read more.

5x23: Day 5: 5:00 A.M.-6:00 A.M. recap: Bierko's goon flushes the nerve gas from the submarine's atmosphere so that they may breathe without the gasmasks on. Bierko starts the missile launch sequence and informs his men he's identified 12 high value targets - financial centres, transportation hubs and high population density areas. 5x22: Day 5: 4:00 A.M.-5:00 A.M. recap: CTU have set up a conference with the Attorney General that is only minutes away. Karen asks Chloe to play the recording - there's nothing on there. Jack tells Chloe to double check everything but there is nothing on the memory chip - it's been erased. Jack asks Chloe who had access to the room while she was working - Miles did. Jack storms out and heads towards Miles. Karen tries to get a security guard to stop him only for Jack to punch him in the chest before crumpling on the floor. Jack grabs Miles by the throat and pushes him against the wall. Karen manages to persuade Jack to let go. It looks like Miles is packing up to go elsewhere - he's been transferred. "Transferred to where?" Karen asks. Jack knows exactly where: "The White House." Karen is disgusted with Miles and slaps him in the face. President Logan calls inquiring about the conference with the Attorney General and informs Karen that he's suspending Jack's arrest order. Jack knows his release will mean he's alone and unprotected - the perfect target. Word comes in that Bierko has escaped and the lone agent who survived the attack is sure he heard Bierko's men mention something about a nerve canister. CTU put Bierko's capture at the top of the priority list... read more.

5x21: Day 5: 3:00 A.M.-4:00 A.M. recap: Jack informs Karen that he has the recording, which was on the co-pilot, and is en route to Van Nuys Airport.
